A lot of people ask me how did I end up becoming an acupuncturist or a Brennan Healing Science practitioner? I got the same question 15 years ago when I became a massage therapist. In the near future, people will understand acupuncture and Brennan Healing Science and like healing  modalities.

I was an equity trader on Wall Street in the 80’s.  I took a two week hiking trip in Colorado and my whole world changed.  I began to question everything. What did I want in life? What were my beliefs? I quit my job and moved to Seattle, Washington. It took a couple of years, but to make a long story short, I chose to go to massage school. I haven’t looked back since.

I continue with my fascination with the human body and the soul. How do they work? How do we heal as a body and/or as a soul? Can you heal one without healing the other? I’ve pursued many educational avenues in search of the answer.  What I’ve come to realize is there is no one answer. Each person must find their own way. What works for one, may not work for another. Learn to listen to your own heart and there is never a wrong answer.

In my own practice, I aim to offer a variety of choices for healing based on who YOU are. The dis-ease is the symptom and also the gift to leading you home to who you truly are. Welcome to Soulworks!

Education and Certifications:

· Masters in Oriental Medicine– A 4 year program with 2880 hours of training in oriental theory, diagnosis, and treatment in acupuncture, herbal studies, biomedical clinical sciences, and herbal and acupuncture clinical training.

 

· State licensed and Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist

 

· Certified in Brennan Healing Science– A 4 year program with 1250 hours of training in hands-on-healing techniques, body psychotherapy and personal process

 

· Graduate of  an  AMTA accredited massage program

 

· State Licensed in Texas and Washington for massage and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB)

 

· N.A.E.T. (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) practitioner

 

· Certified N.E.T. (Neuro Emotional Technique) practitioner

 

· NADA certification (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association)  

 

· Advanced clinical hypnotherapist

 

· B.A. Psychology
